How to Submit a DMCA Takedown Notice
To submit a valid DMCA notice, send an email to dmca@offeri.net with the subject line "DMCA Takedown Request" and include all of the following:
- Your full legal name and contact information (address, phone number, email address)
- A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
- The specific URL(s) on Offeri.net where the allegedly infringing content appears
- Proof of ownership or authorization to act on behalf of the copyright owner (e.g., copyright registration, license agreement)
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf
- Your electronic or physical signature
Incomplete notices that lack any of the above elements may not be processed.
Our Response Process
Upon receiving a valid DMCA takedown notice, we will:
- Acknowledge receipt within 24 hours
- Review the claim within 24–48 business hours
- Remove or disable access to the identified content if the claim is valid
- Notify you of the action taken
- Inform the content provider whose material was removed
Counter-Notice Procedure
If you believe your content was removed in error or that you have the right to use the material, you may submit a counter-notice to dmca@offeri.net including:
- Your full name and contact information
- Identification of the removed content and its former location on Offeri.net
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the content was removed due to mistake or misidentification
- Your consent to jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or, if outside the US, the courts of the applicable jurisdiction)
- Your electronic or physical signature
Upon receiving a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant. Content may be restored after 10–14 business days unless the original complainant files a court action.
Repeat Infringer Policy
Offeri.net maintains a repeat infringer policy. Users or data sources that are subject to multiple valid DMCA complaints may be permanently removed from our platform.
Good Faith Requirement
Misrepresenting that material is infringing, or that a removal was made in error, may result in civil liability. Submit takedown notices only when you have a genuine, good-faith belief of infringement.
